AT&T Visual Voicemail on unlocked Verizon5c?

Anyone know how to get AT&T Visual Voicemail working on an unlocked Verizon iPhone 5c?

Grandma lost her 5c. So, I purchased an unlocked GSM 5c off eBay. I went to the AT&T store and received a new SIM card, which works fine. She gets LTE, texts, calls, etc.

However, I can't get visual voicemail to work. AT&T says because it was originally a Verizon iPhone 5c it has Verizon software on it? Are they talking about the carrier settings? The APN settings are not available with an AT&T sim card.

Any ideas? I've searched and searched, but came seem to find an answer.

I had no prob getting VV on AT&T with a verizon iphone 5 before.
Didn't have to bother changing any settings or anything like that.

I've switched a few Verizon phones to ATT and have had no issues.

Did you restore the phone from a backup of her old one or set it up as new?

What does it do when you try to open the voicemail tab?

You need to go back to the store and make sure the "provision" the phone's account with VVM.

You have simply run into some low information reps.
