AT&T vs Apple puchase?

Is there a downside to getting phone from ATT? I wanted to get it from Apple but couldn't get through.... Can you get Apple care for an ATT purchased phone?

Try Apple now, I just got through and so did a whole bunch of other folks it seems.

I would not buy from Att for one they are out of stock and 2 they would find a way to screw it up somehow anyway.

An AT&T purchased iPhone is still manufactured by Apple and hence covered by Apple Warranty.

There is physically going to be no difference in purchasing from AT&T or Apple. Only psychologically.
