AT&T vs T-Mobile Launch Day Phone question

Hi guys. I am currently on ATT prepaid and I plan on getting the new iPhone on launch day. I plan on paying full for the phone upfront. I travel a bit and wherever I am, they use GSM. Will it matter if I go with ATT or Mobile on Launch day? Will both be unlocked if I pay full price upfront? I don't have a verizon account so that option isn't viable. Thanks again.

We'll know soon the possible bands and frequencies included for each model sold under each carrier.

Oh so tomorrow we will know more then? But moreover, I guess the main question would be, would they both be unlocked at full price? The radio frequencies to the country I travel to work for the most (India) will probably work on either

It's not impossible that every iPhone will be the same this year. We'll have to wait and see.

I always opt for the Verizon version, unless an unlocked option exists at launch. Verizon devices are always factory unlocked.

Yes like all previous years if you pay full price it will be unlocked or can get it unlocked by the carrier.
