AT&T website down?

I went to log in to my account on AT&T and it gave me a server error, I also tried to order the 3GS on apple.com and it said to try back in 15 hours...

anyone else getting these errors trying to log in?

Perhaps they are updating things to let 3G users upgrade alittle earlier...

Maybe this is a good sign -- those backordered statuses will be removed

Or, then again, it could actually mean they are just doing normal website maintenance

Engadget is reporting pre-orders are completely sold out, so unfortunately I suspect that when the site is back up we won't be able to order the 3GS again until they have an idea of when the stock will become available.

Well I bought a 3G today...

They said that the system was running updates and such for an hour or two. I'd expect it to be back up @ 3AM or so.

No idea if it has anything to do with accounts. My guess is they found an automated way to ensure that MMS will work on the accounts.

They are updating everyone's AT&T online accounts - even mine, that doesn't have an iPhone on it anymore.

AT&T's site often goes down for maintenance late at night; I wouldn't read too much into it.
