I have an iPhone 6. This was purchased when carriers still subsidized phones (higher monthly rate, lower device cost). My 2-year contract is just about to expire. Should I expect that my monthly rate will reduce since previously the device cost was baked in to my higher monthly rate?

I am on the same situation with ATT too and I called customer service and the answer is NO. Hard to believe but true. Time to move on to better provider.

You should be calling customer service to explore options...not posting here.

Nothing for you here.

Just time to change your plan.....not provider. If you are happy with your service etc.
