So if you haven't heard AT&T announced that they would roll out HSPA+ on their network to cover 250 million people.

Just wondering how many people are covered with 3G today? And how different would covering 250 million people look like? Would it be comparable to Verizon or would it just be an overlay of the current 3G network?

Good info! It's obviously intended because of the iPhone 4 release. 250 million doesn't sound like a lot. It would be cool to see a map. HSPA+ will be for the 3G network, but how much coverage I think is the question at hand.
