ATD makes noise when opening Parallels/Windows 7

I have a brand new Thunderbolt display and every time I open Parallels/Windows the display starts making noise, even with the audio off. This noise lasts about 30 seconds, then disappears. It sounds like someone has turned the speakers up real loud, but is not playing any music. Has anyone heard of anything like this?
