Atheros ATH-AR5BxB63 in cMP ?

i slaughter an older samsung laptop and found a nice full sized mini-pci wifi card from atheros ( ATH-AR5BxB63 ) inside.

i tried it in my cMP but after powering on, the pro is not booting anymore.

i suggest an incompatible device...does anybody know if this is card is airport"able" ?

Only B/G networking, but if that works for you...

...as for the no-boot: I have found that an incompatible m-pcie wifi card will just 'not work', and will not prevent booting.

A photo or description of how you connected it would assist...for all I/we know, you stuck in an x-16 pci-e slot
