Ok, I've been googling and can't find a straight up answer on this one...
I read a few threads where people talked about have a few issues, but those were a the MacPro launch.. Then, I've found a few where someone VAGUELY mentions having them both installed....
Does anyone happen to have a 7300 nVidia and a 1900 ATI installed in their MacPro and running a the same time in OS X?
I've just finally gotten myself a cintiq, but I don't want to use it as a second monitor since I already have a Dell 24" and a 30" ACD. I'd like to have it on a 7300 all to itself so I can take it between the MacPro and the MacBookPro without too much hassle and use it as a tool versus a display. (should prolong the LCD life too)
So I want to keep my 30 and my 24 running on the ATI and install a 7300 for the cintiq...
The issue here is the fricken shortage of cards for the mac pro... It's a bit annoying actually. I can't see paying ANOTHER 400 bucks just to have my cintiq on it's own screen. I would much rather spend the 140 on the nVidia.
If someone has a definitive answer on this that would ROCK SO HARD.
Thanks everyone.
