ATi 5870 for Mac Pro any time this... century?

The last I read anything about the 5870 for the Mac Pro was in September 2009.

I could buy one now, but have to use Windows 7 on my 2009 Mac Pro. I really don't want to go back to Windows; I have my own Windows laptop for Flash development and use Macs for everything else...

It came to my mind that Apple will make use of a 5770 card rather than a 5870. Cheaper + less power drain.

I would rather expect apple to release the 5870 just in time for ATI's announcement of the 7000 series...
