ATI 9000 PRO Overheating?

Has anyone experienced this problem with the retail version of the ATI 9000 PRO? I bought the thing about 2 months ago and just recently started playing Medal Of Honor and the thing gets HOT! So hot I think it is locking up my Mac and I have to reboot. Why I think this is that if I lower the side of my case and run the Mac it never locks up. If I close the case then a few minutes of running Medal Of Honor my Mac totally freezes.

I have:

QuickSilver 2002 PowerMac
PowerLogix 1.2 G4 Upgrade (single)
768MB of Crucial RAM
ATI 9000 Pro 64MB
WD JB 120GB 8MB Cache HardDrive
and All the normal OEM stuff that came
on it.

Let me know if anyone else has had this problem PLEASE!
