Hi,

I tried Windows 10 at my Mac Book Pro 2015 with Ati R9 m370x.
Everything works exept the Ati Driver. Years ago there where tools to modify the driver to work with Notebook gpu. Tools like DH mobility Modder but this dosn't work anymore. Somebody know a solution?

If you have an ATi card in a 2015 MacBook Pro then something went terribly wrong in a time experiment somewhere. Good thing you're not using a MacBook Pro with a 3DFX Geforce GPU at least.

Also, no there's no solution, DH mobility modder was a thing when there was an ATi and Apple's proprietary hardware setup requires specific drivers for that hardware.

You'll have to wait a few weeks before Apple Computer Inc. releases them for your particular abacus model.

I don't think Windows 10 drivers for the AMD video cards in Apple's current lineup are yet available.

Yeah that's why i was thinking maybe with a mod driver. Even the one at bootcamp is about one year old. And was not good working at windows 8.1 with 2015 MacBook Pro

I think you can also get updated drivers directly from AMD if Windows 10 didn't install them. I checked their driver site and actually found a download for your model, so you might take a look and see if it works.

Have you tried (re-)installing the Bootcamp driver? Mine works flawless in Windows 10.

I did a clean install with Windows 10 after the upgrade. I deleted the Boot Camp partition and created it again, let Boot Camp download the drivers an installed Windows 10. Afterwards, all drivers installed just fine and everything works (rMBP 2015 with AMD)

Edit: Drivers from the AMD site are not bootcamp compatible and won't install.

yeah i reinstall them now M370x is there but without Control Panel. But still better than nothing.
Windows Update wants to update the driver too but when it comes to the installation an error appears.
Damn i guess Apple take ages to update bootcamp.

Bootcamp drivers don't seem to be a priority for Apple, but they do supply them eventually.

Stuff like this makes me really glad I chose the evga gtx 680 mac edition for my mac pro 5,1 instead of the sapphire 7950!

I seem to be the only one without problems on my rMBP 2015. I did a clean install of Windows 10 after the upgrade via Boot Camp Assistant and the ATI Boot Camp driver installed just fine, including CCC. All games are working so far.

Why? This has nothing to do with those cards at all.

Neither card you're yammering about is supported or will ever be supported by Bootcamp drivers.

If the drivers are packed in apples bootcamp, or downloaded from their original brand doesnt matter to me. There are drivers for the gtx 680 that work perfectly, but it seems none of the ati drivers work on macpro anymore for win10. I guess there is that hacked one that can be forced to work, but its sad that people have to resort to that even on the newest mac pro.

Maybe because no Mac has used ATi cards since the early 2000s?

Regardless the AMD HD7950 drivers work perfectly with Windows 10. Post your bull elsewhere mkay?

Edit: just because you're the kind of person who'd be happy to know this, that all new Mac models with discreet GPUs have AMD GPUs. No more 3DFX for u.
