Hi I know Apple is trying to stop us from installing the latest ATI drivers
on a MBP ATI 1600XT.

But has anyone figged out a way to install the raw drivers from ATI yet?

I want to be up to date the Bootcamp video drivers are like 7 months old.

Thanks

Apple haven't done anything to stop you from installing ATi drivers on your machine. Their ATi graphics card just have a different identification from standard ATi parts. ATi can simply add in these details if it chooses but doesn't, so in fact it is ATi that is stopping you from doing this.

Driverheaven.net has a program called mobility modder which modifies ATi drivers to work on mobile/apple parts.
