With my PC and NVIDIA card I ever so often, perhaps every few months, would go over to nvidia.com and find a driver update. I went to ATI's website and looked to see if my ATI 1900 card for my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 20" needed a driver update and it did not. Do Mac's generally require graphic card updates or are they just that good that they don't require them as much as graphic cards in PCs do?

yeah graphics updates are normally rolled into other updates. Normally .x somethings not separate.

Your 20" iMac has an X1600 not an X1900

There is no BTO for the X1900 for the 20" iMac
