I've just put ATI Radeon 9200 128MB PCI card into a G4 733 Quicksilver running OS 10.4.11 but am having a little problem. I've downloaded and installed the drivers and any related patches I've found from ATI's site.

I'm getting a signal and image from the DVI and VGA ports but when the OS loads I'm not getting the Apple logo, just a grey screen, and then the desktop loads with just the desktop picture; no dock, menu bar or mouse cursor.

It's almost as though the display is only showing a portion of the screen...

Any clues, o geniuses? :)

Ah, OK. Have managed to get a window open and the mouse cursor but when I try to open up System Preferences, it opens up off-screen. :D

Feel like such a n00b. :D

Edit: Problem solved. Remove AGP card. Doh.
