It says you have to build the demos. Too bad I don’t know how to do that. It would be really cool if someone could build them all and host them. Or even link to a video of what they are.

It references Project Builder, so likely OS X SDK dating to before Xcode (so 10.0 through 10.2), back when the OS X ProjectBuilder (aka PBX) and CodeWarrior Pro were the standards.

Unfortunately developer.apple.com doesn't appear to have those in the "other developer downloads" section. Maybe there's an unofficial mirror out there.

And even bigger reason to try to build it. This forum is about preserving our PPC macs. These demos are great example of what they were capable of.

I found this in a 2004 thread: where can i find project builder?

Project Builder is in /Developer/Applications. If /Developer doesn't exist, you will need to install the Developer Tools, which should have been bundled with your copy of Jaguar (retail version) or in the /Applications/Installers folder (preinstalled version).

Upside is that it seems early Xcode up to version 2.5 can convert Project Builder projects.

Downside is... I can't find where to actually download ATIOpenGLDemos.sit. :) There's a support forum thread that mentions the link to the file is broken, from... well, not that long ago.

Looks to be!

[EDIT: Removed link + details, however the zip should be mirrored on other classic Apple download sites for posterity.]
