I have tried the maya forum for this, but no one seems to be able to shed any light on this issue. I am in the market for either the radeon 4850 512MB or the NVIDIA GeFORCE GT 130 512MB. The workstation will be used exclusively for maya work and POSSIBLY 2 monitors. I have read that the radeon better lends itself to playing games, which I will not be doing. However, I wondered if since most games are 3d, the principal is the same. I have also been told that the radeon has freezing issues, and that members of this forum have traced it to a wireless issue. The computer will be online, but I wonder how much bearing this should have on my decision. So with that, I throw it out to the community for your advice. Thanks in advance, Mike

it should be...

the gt130 should be ok but if you want the best performance get the 4850. But beware of the problems with the 4850 as wifi is causing it to freeze. best to wait for 10.5.7
