I have a (flashed) Ati Radeon 5770 installed in my Mac Pro 1,1. It works prefectly 9 times out of 10, boot screen and all. But once every few days it just refuses to give me a screen. My monitor will say no signal, and nothing I do will make it work, except for turning the mac off, taking out the graphics card and puting it back in again. And even then it doesn't always work.
What could this be? I use a dvi to vga cable so I can see the bootscreen. I see the mac boots properly to osx because I can login with screen sharing from my mac book.
