Hi All~

I've got a new Mac Pro 12-core with an ATI 5870, but need to install a Quadro 4000 as well for CUDA development. Since the Radeon would still be used as my sole display adapter with the Quadro only being used for GPU, do I need to add a separate power supply for the Quadro or would a Y-cable from one of the Radeon PCI aux power connectors suffice? TIA for any insights...

Thanks,
~Reese! :~)

Need a Y cable.

I have a GT 120 running in the second slot with my 5870 for CUDA development. Not the fastest, but it works.

Time to hop on the OpenCL train.
