Hey guys,

So i setup windows on my imac and i installed the Steam gaming platform, and when playing some games i get this "Warning; Your graphics driver appears to be out of date" and it gives me a link to download an updated one, but upon installing i get this "Error: No compatible hardware found. Aborting..." and then it exits.

Although the games run fine without the updated driver, i thought it best to try updating, or am i fine to leave as-is?

Off topic; anyone know of a free driver scanner that will scan AND update my drivers? The shareware app called Driver Detective said i have like 20 out of date drivers, including the graphics card driver.

Graphics card: ATI Radeon X1600
iMac (Late 2006 Model)

-Thanks

Hmm. I don't know if I would really worry about it. I mean theoretically it would enhance your performance. But it's a pretty aged card and since this is the case I wouldn't worry about it
