Will a ATI Radeon HD 2600 video card work in a older G5 2.0ghz tower? I'm upgrading my card soon, and a buddy of mine needs more video power.

No. As I understand it, all HD 2600 cards are PCI-E only, and the original 2 GHz G5s had AGP 8x Pro.
Unless you have the latest model G5 (dual-core) with PCI-E, it won't work.
