ATI Radeon HD 5700 osx lion?

Hi guys i have ATI Radeon HD 5700 and i am planing to go today and get me osx lion bur first i hear that lion can run different graphic cards, i was wondering if it can run ATI Radeon HD 5700. I have mac pro early 2009 4.1.

I was looking for a OSX lion and video cards topic on this forum but was not able to find one can you direct me to one? if there is one. And would you guys know what non apple graphic cards work under lion so far and are stable.

I assume it is not an Apple official card, yes? As you will know, 2010 MPs come with the 5770 and 5780 cards but they are already Apple-flashed.

No it is not apple and it is not flashed, i was planing to buy on from apple but decided to go with 12 gb memory instead so now i have this card lying around collecting dust. I have heard that with osx lion some cards don't need to be flashed i hope this is one of them. But if i decide to install it i will need power cable. Would this cable be available at my computer store or do i have to order from OWC i dont know the name of the cable.

Would you know what my success would be if i flash it i have mac pro early 2009 2.66ghz i already have NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 i don't know how good it is. I usually run fcp cinema 4d and after effects.

What can you tell e about this carad XFX HD-687A-ZDFC ATI Radeon HD 6870, 1GB GDDR5, 900MHz i have read that it does not have to be flashed under osx lion
