I am thinking about buying a discounted 2.66 Mac Pro once the new Mac Pros are finally announced. The problem is I cannot upgrade the graphics card to the X1900 because I probally will be buying it from a store like Compusa who carries left over stock. Do you think I will be able to by graphic card upgrades like the X1900 from Apple or third party vendors once the new Mac Pros come out? Will it be difficult to find and expensive due to the card being discontinued and Apple being the only supplier?

Thanks

Most likely Apple will either blow out remaining X1900 cards or stop selling them immediately.

Personally, I am expecting many Apple ATI x1900 cards to show up on ebay once Apple offers new cards as many Mac Pro users have been waiting to upgrade. This will probably allow some great deals on used ati cards on ebay.
