Atlona vs. Apple dual link dvi adaptor?

Does anyone have any experience with the Atlona AT-DP400 dual link DVI to Mini-Display Port adaptor?

I have the Apple version ( in use with a MBP 13 to NEC monitor) and I am getting very tired of the "fuzzy screen of death".

AT-DP400 is a DVI to MDP converter which can be used for 27" Apple Cinema Display(MDP) and 27" iMac with MDP. (This converter doesn't support Apple's latest and greatest Thunderbolt based monitors). For more info, contact Atlona's Technical Support or send us a private message.
