AtMonitor

AtMonitor seems to be abandonware, since the newest I can find is 2.8b and the developer's website is dead. Anyone know what happened? Also, while it still seems to work just fine, if there is no development, then new versions of the OS could kill it easily. Any alternative suggestions?

Yeah, I'm bummed about this, too, as atMonitor is really useful. The author open-sourced the other product, atPeek, so I'm hoping the same could happen for atMonitor. Of course, with no way to reach the author, I'm not sure how to proceed.
