Atmos no longer working with airplay to Apple TV 4k

Trying to figure out if this is an issue with my receiver or Apple TV/updates?

was working fine for years, now I can airplay Atmos content from my phone or Ipad (All of which is updated to latest updates)

Anyone else having this issue

Also i can get Atmos to work if i just use the Apple music app on Apple TV

I generally have the same question, I just downloaded Apple Music Classical app to my iPhone, tried spatial audio on my AirPods Pro (1st generation), AirPods Max and my one OG Homepod, for classical selections that offered it, it sounded ok, but I tried to airplay to my Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) and it would not output spatial audio, only stereo. I tried the exact same albums on the Apple TV music app and spatial audio worked fine. I have the Apple TV 4K hooked up to a 5.1 surround system with tower speakers (Polk Audio) and some spatial audio selections, especially those with multiple musical instruments, sound sensation with true surround.
