ATT and applecare+

I just got my phone 4s and I don't know what to do with it! I was told that I cant activated if I want applecare+ on my phone. what is the real call? can I use the phone activated and then get applecare+

According to Apple, it said to call them after you receive your iphone.

"Note: AppleCare+ will be available through November 14, 2011, to customers who pre-ordered iPhone 4 (8GB) and iPhone 4S. After you receive your new iPhone, contact us at 1-800-275-2273 to purchase AppleCare+."

I called but no help... they said to wait 24 hours in order for my phone to show up in the system :S Did anyone actually got applecare+ through the phone?

I called Apple when I first got my 4s and they told me to call AT&T. So I called AT&T and they said I needed to visit a core store in my area. So, I went by there and they attempted to do it, then gave me a number BACK to Apple. So, I called that, and they told me they're suppose to be able to add it for the people that pre-ordered but didn't have the option. The guy was really nice and said to call back tomorrow with the case id. He said their systems were pretty backed up and it's probably related.

So, I guess I'll try tomorrow or Monday

Weird that told you to call back in on the 24th...

Someone just posted this on a thread. http://store.apple.com/us/product/S4575LL/A So maybe we should give them a day or two.

yea I will give them 24h but I had to use the phone so now at least I can wait using my iphone 4s
