My friend works for att and was telling me how two weeks ago he sold a iPhone to someone with bad credit. The guy payed $800 deposit on top off the $499 for the phone. So that got me to thinking since the iphone 3G is going to be $199 and $299 there's going to be a lot of people out there that want to get this phone do you think att going to keep raping the people with bad credit or are they just going to sell this phone to the masses.

They aren't just going to ignore the fact that some people have bad credit. That would be an idiotic business decision.

Credit is based upon if people pay their bills and keep their accounts up to date. So its not something that is only for the iPhone its for any line or phone you want to purchase. Anyway the guy is going to get his deposit back (if he has no disconnects) after one year with interest.
