Att Plans for no contract iphone

so i think of myself lucky to have picked up a phone for 60$ with no contract from a friend and the only issue with it is a broken power button so now im looking into a way to use it really cant activate with a contract or any bill plan the only options i know about and would consider are possibly Go Phone? "can you do that anymore" or jail break which means i have to fix the power button

I am currently at the Connect to Itunes + No sim card screen because i updated to 3.0

any solutions and can i even use go phone now

If you have another IMEI on a phone (the phone doesn't even have to work), you can call up and have GoPhone account activated. Once it's activated, pop in in the iPhone and it'll activate through iTunes. Of course, you will need an AT&T SIM to do this.
