ATT Premier Acct/iPhone Q

Hey, I understand if you have an AT&T premier account, you have to buy the iPhone from an AT&T store, to avoid any premier discount issues. I was wondering if I can buy it from Apple, if I have 4 lines on my AT&T account, with another number/phone listed as the primary premier account number? The iPhone number is not the primary account line and I would rather buy it directly from an Apple store than an AT&T store. Any thoughts? Thanks

I did just that on June 25 with no problem. I, however, did call ATT and made sure it was ok before buying it from an apple store.

I thought the premiere thing was fixed? I think you can go to Apple and buy it from them even with a premiere account. I could be wrong though =/
