There was no charge to begin with. Just a pre-authorization hold that automatically clears in 3-5 days. They do it to verify that buyer has funds available.
I ordered my 32GB iPhone 4 in-store at AT&T since i had no luck getting through on-line to order from apple.com. I have a busy work schedule this week, do you think they would let me pick up my phone the night before since they will probably have the shipment in already for the 25th? I know its a long shot but it is possible

they get to the store the evening before the 24th. They'll let you have yours with everyone else Thursday.
Wouldn't be risking my job since i would try to pick it up late after work thursday after 6.
In no way was i bragging about my job, its just a simple question, i mean didn't they say all pre-ordered iPhones through AT&T are available for pick-up on the 25th? It just makes sense that they would get the shipment the day before. No need to be a jack***.
I'm reading that the ATT purchased phones will be shipped overnight and from somewhere in the states. The Apple purchases are coming from China. Not the att purchaed iPhone 4's.

Consumers may preorder iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS 8GB at AT&T retail stores or online at www.att.com/iphone beginning June 15. Business customers can preorder through their AT&T sales representative or by visiting AT&T's Premier site. For greater convenience and faster delivery, preorders can be shipped directly to a customer's home or business for delivery as early as June 24. Customers can also have a preorder shipped to their local AT&T store for pick up on or after Friday, June 25.

I ordered two on the 15th at the AT&T store (around 4:30 PM). I paid with my debit card. AT&T just took payment for both. Hoping that means they will ship tomorrow. Can't wait.
same here. I never would have preordered with att if the apple.com site had been up and running.
