ATT store iPhone pickup after pre order

Ok here is the situation. I have a + pre orderedbut the shipment date is 10/13. I want to know if I can go to an ATT store on launch date and if they will have any + in stock? and if so can they cancel my preorder and process the store purchase order in the same transaction?

You'll have to call customer service to cancel. I just went asked this exact question.

You can buy another phone and return the other one if it can not be canceled.

I expect there will be lots of that going on.

I'm thinking the same thing. I reserved mine at 2:55am on At&t's site, but I still won't get mine until Oct 13th at the earliest...
