Sorry if somewhat repost...

I am a current ATT customer that will be adding a new line when I buy a new IPhone. Which store would you recommend, ATT or Apple store for the shortest (QUICKEST) line? Originally I was thinking ATT, but the thought of waiting for everyone to open an account, get credit check (if not done before arriving), chosing number, etc. could be a long day.

What is required to buy a phone at Apple store? The same thing, or can you just walk in and buy one like you buy a DVD?

Thanks.

You will have to sign some sort of aggrement that you will activate it at an ATT store or be charged a fee. I don't know what kind of fee but it was written somewhere. My guess is that if you buy 1 from an apple store you will then have to go to ATT or call and activate it by phone and itunes.
