Can someone tell me what they are? I'm not eligible for a full upgrade until January and want to grab the 3GS now rather than later. I've been planning on changing my number anyways so this seem like a no brainer if the termination fee is less than $200.

but you have to watch out.. ATT might deny service to you for 90 days! I would actually contact ATT and find out your options

It's $175.

Hmm.. So it would be like $90 for me to terminate and then I'd save $200. I guess I'll just call ATT and see what's up.

Here's an idea.. What if I added a second line and then cancelled my existing line? Do you think that would work?

As Maclvr indicated...your plan will not work. I actually tried this a couple of years ago and a CS rep explained to me that they have a waiting period before you can become a "new customer" again for exactly this reason. This is a far too obvious work around for a cell company to miss.

What about this? I know I sound cheap but I've already been through 3 iPhones and two of those were at full retail.... had one stolen.
