During the past releases a large majority of iPhone users purchased the 16 gig model.
The 16 gig version is usually $199, still is for the 6 but not 6+.
The 32 gig is $299. (its gone now)
And the 64 is normally $399.

A lot more people could/can handle spending $199 for a phone... but
$399 and now $499 for the 128 gig plus... that gets pretty expensive fast.

But with the Next plan...
Just pay some sales tax... and a few more bucks a month and choose the flagship, high capacity model.

Due to the Next plan I think the demand was higher this time for the larger capacity phones on AT&T.
Hence, the greater number of orders not filled for 64gig and especially 128gig customers. (Plus models.. really seem to be in short supply.)

Demand has soared with the new buy now, pay later option, aka Next.

That is why I think their seems to be a bigger shortage of 64 and 128 gig phones at AT&T.

I know demand was higher overall for this release, BUT it was especially high for the larger capacity phones on AT&T.

At least that's my thinking..
