Just a heads up to those who are on media net plans or iphone 2g data plans with a 3g iphone.

Been doing it since July 2008 for 3G iPhone, and were doing it for the $20 data plan for v1 iPhone in 2007, b/c if you switched from a cheap Samsung phone to the v1 iPhone you would get the warning that your $20 data plan was activated, AT&T is gonna' get theirs no matter what you do...

i understand that but at&t doesnt sell the iphone for $200/$300 because they are generous. people trying to use media net/no data are attempting to have their cake and eat it too.

AT&T's postpaid service terms and conditions have said that they reserved the right to do that sort of thing for quite some time now. Shouldn't come as a shocker.
