ATT Unlock went through , now I cant use my old sim to restre in itunes ?

My old IP4 is unlocked now , I have my old micro sim in there .... I tried a backup and restore in Itunes but will I need a new prepaid SIM or... ???

Sorry if this has been asked million times but the search was down for me

**** I must be doing something wrong then...

I backed up then did restore from backup.... but no itunes message...

Should I proceed with factory restore?

itunes message for what? it being unlocked?

leave your sim in

restore the phone from your backup

should say unlocked at one of the intermittant stages



If you are merely trying to see if the phone has been unlocked, go to www.iphoneox.com

You have to restore it first before you will be able to use another sim though

I did the check through multiple places to confirm and just did a full backup then i did a full restore but no notification that it is unlocked...

The true test will be with a new prepaid sim I guess

Sometimes, it appears to take several tries at getting the message.

The first time i tried after getting an email that it was unlocked i also did not get a message. A few says later retried got message. Sometimes it takes time.
