ATT Upgrade Swap

Hi Guys,

So sorry if this has been asked before. But I just bought an iPhone 6 for my wife under my account. Does anyone know the exact steps that need to be performed to do an upgrade swap?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I did a similar swap. My wife was due for an upgrade so I used her upgrade for my new iPhone 6. We are on the mobile family share plan. I had a 5c and just took the sim out of the 5c and put into the 6 before I turned it on.

Everything works perfectly.

That sounds good. Would it work even if we aren't on the same plan or if we are on completely separate contracts? Thanks!

Yes, take all phones to a physical (at&t I assume?) store and tell them you want to do a device swap.
