I ordered an i4 32gig through apple.com yesterday and it has a 3 week wait period. I of course read the thread about people ordering from att and getting it shipped the next day so I canceled the apple order (big mistake apparently) and when I try to upgrade my phone on the att website I get this message
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to support this request online. Please contact Premier Support at 1-866-499-8008 Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time for assistance with your request. Please reference Error P1231 if you speak to a representative about this error. "
So I call the number and talk to a rep who tells me oh that's not this department let me transfer you, so I wait like 10 min, transfer to some other rep who then tells me oh can't do anything let me transfer you to a sales rep, another 10 min wait, sales rep tells me sorry can't order i4 over the phone, only online or at the store. So I pretty much wasted almost an hour just to cancel my order, att is so useless but I'm sure most of you already know that. att/apple failed so hard for the i4 launch. Oh and wtf is up with att login, I login to check upgrade eligibility and it just reroutes to another login screen which then is stuck in a loop to log in my account. If I do some how login if I click any other area in the accounts page it just asks for my login again.
