ATT versus Apple order

I got an confirmation email from ATT website.

Does this GUARANTEE that I get my phone shipped to my house on the 24th????

I mean doesn't Apple Store get priority over ATT and therefore customers who preordered via ATT would be left out until all Apple Store preorders are fulfilled?

Supposedly yes but honestly the way the whole ordering thing has worked right now I have zero faith in either At&t or apple so Ive got 2 coming from At&T and 2 reserved at my local apple store

Part of their agreement is that AT&T get a certain number of stock to sell. But the revenue to both comapnies is the same either way. If you got a confirmation from AT&T saying the phone will be delivered June 24th, take it to the bank. Only a FedEx or UPS problem would cause a delay.

After trying all day since I woke up, I finally got my order through with AT&T about mid-afternoon.

But I don't necessarily expect it on the 24th. AT&T has worded their promise as "starting on the 24th" and "orders will be processed on a first-come first-served basis."

I guess I should've tried harder to pre-order from Apple.

Does this mean that my order has one unit reserved at least?

I'm hearing news that ATT has already sold out all their reserve!!!
