I'm finding that my iPhone 7 is quite 'spotty' when it comes to wifi calling. Just now it was steadfastly refusing to connect until I rebooted the phone and then it connect with no problems.

Anybody else experiencing any issues?

I've noticed that the iPhone doesn't like connecting to WiFi calling when i'm on a congested 2.4ghz network. When I'm on a 5GHz network, I have no problems.

For me, I mean I've only seen it say "Att Wifi" at the top a few times. Previously it was very aggressive at connecting even when on somewhat random networks not at home.

You mean wifi is not connecting or it will not connect to a call on wifi
Phone connects to wifi no issues, but it's not 'activating' wifi calling (ATT WIFI at the the top of the screen).

I have noticed that it's not connecting as frequently as well.
My 6S seemed to be more stable/better at maintaining the Wifi calling status, but I didn't upgrade that to iOS 10 so I'm not sure if it's the phone or the OS?

I only use wifi calling when there is no cell ser

Ok. Makes sense now. Zero issues with t mobile. Shows wifi all the time.

With att it seems to pick and stick with cellular signal even if its low 1-2 bars over wifi calling.
One way around that is to put it on airplane mode and turn wifi on.
It will then stay at wifi calling if that's what you're looking for.

I haven't noticed any difference between my 6s+ and my 7 when it comes to wifi calling. I usually get kicked over to wifi calling somewhere in the 2 dot range and that has been the case on both phones.
