Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

A,company called Moment has designed what they call a mount that will do this. It has adhesive on the back to attach the mount (that holds the AirTag) to the remote. But it won’t start shipping til July.

I intend to use a keychain fob and connect it to the purple fabric strap that sticks out the bottom of the Roku remote. I’ll post a picture and description of how well (or not well) it works on Friday when my preorder arrives.

my pre-order said it wouldn’t get here till May 3-5. But I didn’t order till last night. Did you order in the morning and get an earlier arrival date?

Yes, I ordered 10 minutes after they went on sale and got a 4-pack of tags and two Belkin keyfobs for delivery on the 30th.

I ordered a few of these.

depending on the remote you maybe can simply put one inside. I did this with my universal Phillips remote. Many remotes are practically empty. Opening them - if they are not sealed with glue - may require some plastic tools to avoid scratches or damage.

I need a way to attach an airtag to my remote that’s kid proof. I want it to be secure enough so that my kids can’t get it off. I’ve bought 3 so far. If I can find a way of doing it I’ll order another 2.

I saw someone in another thread had a case for their Apple TV remote and was easily able to just slip an AirTag into that. I'm considering doing the same once I have an iPhone with a U1 chip. That'd be a game changer.

I read that the remotes use Bluetooth so will be able to be found with an iPhone/ iPad

Works up to 30 ft , which seems more than enough distance in the average house

What I'm really looking forward to, and I'm sure we'll see flooding Amazon and eBay soon, is iPhone cases with built in Find My functionality. They might have to be a little thicker to accommodate it but I'm sure multiple factories in China are working on them right now.

MagSafe air tag cover I’m shocked something like this apple didn’t think of. I would use this for my sky remote.
