Attaching an image to you're number

Is it possible when making a call or sending a text message on an iPhone/ios 8 that a contact photo appears with it. That the person receiving the call or text hasn't assigned themselves ,but I have assigned to my number?

If someone is claiming they didn't add your photo to their contacts, perhaps they have you on Facebook and automatic sync with Facebook turned on?

If what you want is to give them a photo you could save your info as a contact, and just share the contact with them via a message?
