hi I have seen people attach hdd to the back of there laptop screen to make it easier when carrying around I suppose?

I was thinking of doing this with my usb c hub as it is on my desk and getting in my way.

however I have noticed that the hub gets rather hot.

my question is would this damage the screen in anyway as I believe the screen is glued on in some places?

thanks

Seems that all the hubs get quite warm while in use. It is the reason I would not leave it attached if not using it, especially if on battery power.

USB-C jump drives get hot also. Wonder why, my USB-A jump drives might get slightly warm but never hot.

I wouldn't want to attach my hub to the back of the Mac, precisely because it gets very warm. Plus it looks like dorky to me
