Attachments don't work right on Mail.app

I daily send e-mails, where I attach a .pdf file. It opens up right in Macs, but when the mail is sent to Windows, the file's extension appears to be .pdf0. Zero is added after extension.
That zero is also seeing in my Sent list, but not in my folders. There it's simply .zip.

Anybody know something about this? Thanks!

have you tried ticking the "send Windows friendly attachments" box when you choose the file to attach?

Yes, there's a tick. Has been alltime, still makes 0.
