I need help. I have an iPhone 3g 8gb that was jailbroken/unlocked. I was trying to erase all content and settings so that I can sell it and all seemed to be going well until it finished the one hour reset timer. It has been stuck on the apple with the spinning "thinking" bars for 26 hours. I have attempted to turn the phone off, put it into DFU, hard reset, connect it to itunes for restore, and let the battery die. The battery will not seem to die, and as of yet I still cannot turn it off or do anything with it. Please help!

Yup, that's pretty common if you use the "Erase All Content And Settings" in the phone to erase a JB iPhone.
