I'm attempting to upgrade my 3GS with 4.1 to 4.3.3 while preserving my current BB @ 05.13.04. I did not save the interim shsh blob b/w 4.1 to current via TinyUmbrella previously as I expected to use the "make my life easier" option I had set on Cydia.

However, when I actually ran the process of restoring my custom IPSW I created using PwnageTool, iTunes 10.4 returned the "This device isn't eligible for the requested build" error. I've read the threads regarding this issue and verified that my host file is not set to Cydia, yet the restore hangs due to this error.

Running TinyUmbrella 5.00, it did not save any of the SHSH blob listed on my Cydia home page save for the current version installed on my unit, 4.1, along with the others currently signed by Apple as of yesterday, 08/13/11: 4.3.5, 5.0b1, 5.0b2, 5.0b3. Yet the Cydia shows in green type, SHSH: iOS 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1, 4.2.1+, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.5. Curiously, I installed iSHSHit on my unit to see what it captures as available SHSH "Via Cydia" and it also saved only 4.1.

Am I missing something here? Am I not supposed to be able to upgrade/downgrade to any of the iOS versions that Cydia reports it had saved its SHSH blob?

Hi,
I have the same problem. Is the 4.3.3 JB supposed to work ? I have a jailbroken 4.3.1 with SHSH for 4.3.3 at Cydia

EDIT: using TinyUmbrella seems to work.

cheers,
Tex
