Hi guys,

I just bought a ATV 2 yesterday and already love it. I did the setup with my computer and I'm quite impressed how the remote works with this.

I am now to the step where I need to find a way to format all my Avi files in MP4 or whatever is the appropriate format.

The thing is that even after hours (let's say not more than 2) I can't find a way to transfert them without having to change the settings one by one.

I use Isquint and Handbrake. I also use MetaX for the file description and it's wonderful.

I would like the application to convert the selected file to almost the same size for example:

Queue list
Movie 1: 800mb ==> 800mb mp4
movie 2: 1.37gb ==> 1.37gb mp4
Movie 3: 4gb ==> 4gb mp4

Is there a way to do that or do I have to keep doing them one by one?

which application do you use, which settings?.

Thanks you

Hey my friend i am very new to the scene but I have some advice..

I was in the same boat as you are in with the ATV2 and mp4 files..

For months I was converting, AVI>mp4 and a few others> mp4
Taking up time and space and not to mention the converting audio sometimes left sync..
I was poking around and found this site (again)..

Here if you jailbreak your ATV2 you can install a platform called XBMC..

Amazing quality, and it will take your avi files straight from your computer and put them on your big tv....The best part is it converts the for you while its playing...or something like that.

pm me if you have any more noobie questions....be gald to help..
