ATV 3 connection issue w/apps

for the past couple months now i have been having this same problem with both my ATV3's. i go in Hulu or netflix and a show starts and a couple minutes in it starts to buffer but never comes back on. I do a re-start on the ATV3 and it will work sometimes other times it doesn't work.

the odder thing about this all too is if i go to home sharing it works for the most part.

any suggestions on what is wrong?
