ATV 4 occasional lag during games

Anyone notice their Apple TV 4 sometimes lagging or stuttering during games? Like the screen will briefly pause/hesitate.

Have noticed random lags occur on Asphalt 8, Crossy Road, and Hit Tennis for sure, but the issue doesn't happen all the time. Most of the time game play is smooth.

Maybe it's some OS bug, or needed optimization, and not a hardware problem.

My first ATV4 was lagging a lot, it also crashed several times. I exchanged that for a 64GB model and haven't noticed any more issue since then, except for one time playing in multi-player (which apparently was because the asphalt server was really busy/loaded at the time).

I noted this ATV case being warmer to the touch than the previous one. Maybe the thermal paste/heatsink wasn't right on the other ATV causing the processor to slow down or something. This current ATV4 has been solid running the latest OS 9.0.1 release.
